ULTIMATE
ULTIMATE is a fast-paced hack-and-slash action game project set within a multiversal urban fantasy setting. Featuring an original cast of characters, ULTIMATE blends over-the-top spectacle, stylish character-action combat, and high-mobility combo-driven gameplay within a richly layered world. The project exists within a shared universe alongside BioMassCore, with both stories exploring different perspectives. Its protagonist is Lin, supported by characters such as Yu Mei, Brown, Shan, and Alexey. ULTIMATE includes optional, non-canon crossover scenarios presented as creative “what-if” interpretations and collaborative fan-inspired content. These crossover elements are not part of the core narrative and do not affect the canonical structure of the ULTIMATE universe. ULTIMATE is a non-commercial fan project. All rights to external properties referenced in crossover content remain with their respective owners.
– Synopsis –
In the world of ULTIMATE, there were 3 dimensions. One world belonged to the angels, the second belonged to the demons, and the third belonged to the humans. In the world of ULTIMATE, reality was once divided into three dimensions: the realm of angels (Paradiso), the realm of demons (Agartha), and the realm of humanity (Overworld). In a time of great crisis, Longwang fell from the heavens, becoming a demon. In the war between angels, demons and humans, a dimensional anomaly opened through the planet’s leylines. Opening portals to other worlds and causing corrupted dimensions to attack humanity. Humanity became oppressed by the demons emerging from these portals, and mysterious warriors from these portals came into this new world of humans; Itea.
Upon descending into the demonic world, he abandons his demon brethren after witnessing the cruelty inflicted upon mankind. He sealed the boundaries between dimensions through an ancient ritual, preventing angels and demons from freely entering the human world. During this era, he met Tien Chichi, a human aligned with the angels, and together they founded a powerful dynasty. The world was saved by seven angels who wielded magic. They helped humanity discover an unlimited energy source of incredible power, which was labeled “magic”. The most notable being Lumiere, the angel who was able to manipulate space-time. Her power was hosted within the Autochronos, a powerful blade containing divine power. It was wielded by a Nephillim named Levita. Levita would partner with Longwang, forming a brotherly pact with him.
Magic transformed civilization and solved the world’s energy crisis, but it failed to bring peace. Wars continued to rage across the globe, threatening human civilization. Longwang, Tien Chichi, and Rack Levita united several regions under a single magical empire. Seeking to create protectors capable of defending their lands, they procreated and created powerful living weapons known as the Nephillim, children of fallen angels and humans. Their influence spread throughout Asia, where their civilization flourished.
Despite providing a solution for the world energy crisis, war conflicts continued to exist. After a long time, a group consisting of Rack Levita, Tien Chichi and Longwang led 3 regions of a dynasty using magic with humans, creating living weapons known as “Nephillim”, children of fallen angels and humans. These Nephillim settled in Asia, dividing their dynasty across Japan, China, and Korea. Longwang and Tien formed a family and had two heirs, Lin and Yu Mei. Born from both human and celestial blood, they represented a new generation of Nephillim.
Eventually, the Nephillim turned on the human race, beginning a global war known as the Genesis War. After a century of battles, the Lux Order tamed the leader of the Nephillim, hunting down the rest of their kin. The survivors, Lin and Yu Mei, were scattered as their race became extinct. In order to fight back, Lin makes a pact with Longwang’s inner demon, who infests the human portions of his body, turning him into an angel and demon hybrid. Seeking revenge against the Lux Order for destroying his homeland. He was separated from Yu Mei, with both twins taking part in gang activity. Yet amongst the Nephillim, the only one to have survived was Levita, who betrayed the Nephillim.
Asia became split into many minor gangs battling over power and land, with Lin and Yu Mei’s Nephillim powers being used prominently. One group proved to be too big of a threat: Nuovo Paradiso, a human government funded by the Lux Order to govern the world with the use of magic and science. A great deal of dissent was caused by Nuovo, partly due to experimental weapons and mutants known as Ultfinites used in nearly every facet of society, and the widening socioeconomic gap between those who could and couldn’t use magic. This dissent would eventually form the Revolt Tyrants, who openly rebelled against Nuovo Paradiso. Causing them to impose a harsher rule on the world. The Ultfinites are said to be the descendants of Nephillim, as they search for remaining semblances of their ancestors to gain an advantage against the Lux Order.
A Nephillim named Ruin opens gates to other worlds, causing pocket dimensions to spread fallen angels across the world. Engulfing the land with demonic paranatural disasters, wreaking havoc on humanity and mutating lands. Urban development would be changed. Fearing this, Nuovo Paradiso organized a fighting tournament in order to find fighters who would be able to defeat Levita, awarding the winner with their desired future. 15 warriors from other worlds entered this world within a purgatorial realm known as Neo Jerusalem. With each of them told to hunt down the lone Nephillim and send him to the Lux Order, as he holds a forbidden power. Lin is ranked the fifteenth by Nuovo Paradiso. Hunted by powerful organizations, burdened by the legacy of the Nephillim, and determined to avenge his fallen homeland, Lin enters the tournament with a single goal: To rise to the top and claim the future for himself.
