Legion Realm

Legion Realm is a paramilitary organization consisting of terrorist supersoldiers who have either merged or are able to control the Tidal Cataclysm virus, serving as the main antagonistic force of BioMassCore. From the shadows, they scheme to steer the world in a direction that aligns with their vision. At the surface, Legion Relam presents itself as a company specializing in medicine, healthcare, and biotechnology. However, behind the scenes, they use experimental bio-weapons using the Tidal Cataclysm, a parasitic, semi-organic pathogen that reanimates dead tissue, mutates organisms, and serves as a biological warfare agent. With their policy of genocide, they mercilessly slaughter anyone without neo-gen powers and pick out those they deem the strongest and fit enough to join them. They have connections to a power company at its center, accessing advanced military technology, communications, bioengineering, and space development.

– Nosoimones –

The Tidal Cataclysm virus first emerged after the Nexus’ reactor was opened, releasing a massive outflow of liquefied biomatter, leyline-reactive catalysts, and microscopic locust-shaped organic nanites (lyciagrotis). Within this medium, an anomalous organism from the stars underwent explosive replication, fragmenting into swarms of cell-like nanostructures that rapidly infected and rewrote nearby human hosts. The power outburst resulted in a large earthquake that formed a pit within the planet, inducing volcanoes as lycia nanites funneled through tectonic plates.

Rather than spreading through conventional biological vectors, the phenomenon propagated along planetary leyline rivers as a fungus-like semifluid that pulses like an organ. Activation occurs through a resonance reaction between the biomass and ambient radiation, producing reactive gases that concentrate molecular structures into self-organizing membranes. These membranes stabilize into emergent biological systems, which eventually evolve into the Nosoimones. Spreading through floods of (TBA). It has inspired medieval legends like the Black Plague or dragons and is responsible for the disastrous fall of places like Rome, Greece or Norse leading to the creation of Itea. Destroying civilizations and affecting the ecosystem with (TBA), splitting the planet.

When someone is exposed to the Tidal Cataclysm (i.e from a lycia attaching to their body and digging into their body like a worm), they suffer the effects of Aberration. Symptoms include bodily pain, distortion of the senses, and the manifestation of blood crystals on one’s body. Triggering abnormal cell reactions that prompt their transformation. The Tidal Cataclysm alters cellular functions to mutate, rapidly growing tissues, restructuring the mind, and reinforcing muscle / bones. They can be influenced by factors such as pollutants, environmental changes, and genetic engineering, affecting the utility of the Nosoimones’ biology.

Nosoimones are the mutant organisms created by the Tidal Cataclysm virus. They’re able to wield the power of the Tidal Cataclysm at will, granted to them by their neurotic connection to the Agartha‘s hive, a subconscious realm where the memories, instincts, fears, and desires of infected organisms converge. Composed of living energy, and as such, spawn most frequently in places of highly concentrated leylines. Nosoimones are characterized by their immense size, crystalline shelling, and the core (Pulsar Nuclei) within their bodies. Destruction of the core will always kill the Nosoimones, but some have multiple cores that function as a set of organs guarding their central core. These cores produce viral cells in the form of organic masses, which can influence other organisms. When an organism is affected by these cells, their nervous system becomes temporarily synchronized with Agartha, causing physical mutation, psychological instability, and the manifestation of suppressed desires, fears, memories, or identities.

• Armigers can also become a Nosoimones. Such as the virus reprogramming them, Armigers willingly engaging in immoral behaviors, or a malfunction in their programming.

Nosoimones appear from tunnel-shaped pathways across the planet known as Leygates, appearing out of nowhere and swallowing up the physical world. Inside of these pathways, space-time is distorted, physics alter, and paths warp. Inside is the risk of someone succumbing to the Tidal Cataclysm virus. Inside of these tunnels are leftovers of old civilizations. Ichor is a golden fluid of abnormal cellular material extracted from these tunnels, linked to leylines and has unique blood-like properties that builds up genetical mutations for developing abilities.

Nosoimones are capable of infecting other entities with the Tidal Cataclysm, psychologically affecting them and causing them to feel a subliminal link to Agartha. The victim goes through hallucinations of an idealized version of themselves. The Nosoimones offer a pact. Those that refuse the pact succumb to internal bodily combustion with their face thus genetical identity being stolen along with information. And those that accept the pact suffocate, having their blood flow disrupted upon injection of the Tidal Cataclysm’s chemicals, overriding their biology with worm-like organisms overtaking their bodies, growing into lycia that outgrows the former body.

Only a select few are able to become Watchers, individuals with the strongest connection to the Tidal Cataclysm and the only ones capable of appointing new Nosoimones. The Tidal Cataclysm serves as an extension of the Nosoimones’ body when their power is able to control it freely, forming into various shapes and objects with powers that vary based on every named Nosoimones. The fluid of the Cataclysm, Ichor, appears as a string connected to veins and arteries.

Nosoimones are ranked on tiers to estimate their destructive potential. The levels are the following.

Drowned Carrier: Average level. Mindless and expandable weapons such as undead humanoids or infected animals. Requires a one-to-one fight. But these commonly spread the Tidal Cataclysm through biting, clawing, etc. Have a condition from their fueling oxygen that can cause their flesh to be carbonized and weaken them

• Common troops involve skinless humanoids with maliformed bodies

Epidemic Wraithes: Middle-high level. Requires a group of people to fight. Endangers a city.

Gogolta: High level. Endangers cities or entire infrastructures. Consists of colossal organisms.

Watcher Angels: Highest level. Endangers the survival of humanity. These beings inherit the Tidal Cataclysm’s will, serving as hosts that command lower Nosoimones. Associated with the initial progenitors of the Tidal Cataclysm, Nimbus’ fleet who mingled with humanity and spawned the first Ultfinite mutants. Consists of dragon-shaped bio-mechanical weapons with blue highlights.

– Magnificent Seven –

The Magnificent Seven are a group of the most powerful and highest-ranked Nosoimones in Legion Realm, possessing powers that are akin to a Lux Order general. They serve as generals under the direct command of Legion Realm’s leader, receiving a portion of his blood in their most vital organs. Using their own form of Espada weapon-devices known as Pulsar Seeds. When giving an unlock signal via Malkuth’s link to their sheath input, the weapon causes the Nosoimones’ organ to amplify via Malkuth, altering their body structure. When one of the Seven uses their Pulsar Seed, they employ it with a haiku-like line, drawing a circle around themselves. The circle then emerges a swarm of grey locusts that swirl around and cover the wielder. Converging in a black aura before dissipating to reveal the form.

Each are given a number from 0-7, assigning them the Circle and seat. The Magnificent Seven are divided into two groups led by a council. The first three, and the other three. Their Pulsar Seeds were derived from old nuclear weapons that were rejected, reprogrammed by the Tidal Cataclysm. Members follow a standard uniform consisting of all black clothing with purple highlights.

– Quintesson Judges –

Stand-in AI that takes control for dead members

The Quintesson Judges are the heads of criminal justice in Itea, serving as the directors of a central council where they determine whether those accused of being “Aberrant” are guilty or not. If found guilty, their punishments are then decided. Each judge possesses two forms: one used during council proceedings, and another reserved for execution. Trials conducted by the judges follow a three-trial system, with each member assigned their own phase. They stand at the threshold between upper and lower Agartha.

Integra: Rhadamanthus interrogates with unwavering fairness, rewarding virtue and punishing crime with little hesitation. His red eyes ignite like a sun, forcing those before him to meet his gaze with absolute honesty. Possessing a mane-like collar of layered fiber that reacts subtly when someone lies or tells the truth.

Serpentine Arbiter: Minos delivers the final verdict, driving the resolution of each trial. He contains the accused within an elephant-designed yellow vase, confining them as he judges. Wrapping his snake-like tail around himself a set number of times, he determines which circle of Agartha they are sent to.

Merciful Ram: Aeacus handles the fate of those whose verdicts have been decided, whether that be merciful execution of the Aberrant or granting them freedom. He bears goat-like horns and black bird-like wings.

Together, these 3 can form into a chimera-like being.

– Trivia –

The Magnificent Seven were initially inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins, but are being planned to have another motif. Each member had codenames for their transformed states.

Nicholai was originally a major member, being named Subzero.

Each member was associated with a concept called Sinister Executions, death sequences unique to each character to fit their sin. This was scrapped to expand each member.

The Quintesson Judges are based on the Underworld’s judges in Greek mythology, as well as Minos’ depiction in Dante’s Inferno. They also have references to the Three Demon Kings (From Journey to The West) and Lucifer’s three faces.

There was a scrapped story idea for what the Magnificent Seven were meant to do.

• The Magnificent Seven engaged into an operation known as “Divided Inversion”, commanded by Reverie. The squadron initiated conquests on planets from the solar system into the 9 Circles of The Nether, sequencing different parts of their plan while attempting to harness the power of reality with the Firmament Mirror, wishing to purify the Nether’s power and magnify it’s domination over factions to overthrow them and achieve their ways of peace for their former bodies to be returned and to be in paradise where all is inverted and warped.

The Nosoimones were originally called Neutron-mares, a mix of “neutrons” and “nightmares” to fit their undead theme. This is to complement how the Abyssal Empire were based on blackholes, the Nebulous Sential is based on nebulas, and the Lux Order is based on constellations.
